Course objectives:
Present the principles of the Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights to professionals and the academic community, comparing it to other international systems, especially the European and North American ones, bearing in mind the fact that the Internet enables constant connection between different nations across the world.
Analyze the advancements and setbacks of the Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights, especially in relation to providers’ civil liability; net neutrality; personal data protection; the right to be forgotten; de-indexation and delinking, among other topics.
In short, this course aims to provide professionals with basic elements, regarding theoretical and practical knowledge with the purpose of preventing legal problems involving the internet, as well as fostering its further development and regulation.
Target audience: Professionals and students in Law, Management, Computer Science and other Law and Information Technology professionals.

Recommended literature:
Workload: 30 hours
Duration: 4 weeks
Weekly classes: Saturdays – 8:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5pm

Slots: 50 (fifty) slots, in which 5 (five) go towards scholarship students and 45 (forty-five) for paying students.
Investment: R$50,00 (paid at the time of registration) + 2 R$350,00 installments
Approval criteria: the certificate will only be emitted to students with attendance above 85%. Attendance will be controlled in both parts of each Module – an attendance list will be handed out in the 1st part of the class (morning period) and another one in the 2nd part (afternoon period). Students can only miss one of the 8 parts of the course.
Course slots: The slots will be filled according to the order of registration, once the rules and deadlines are met, according to the course calendar.
