On March 13th, by invitation of Professor Marcio Henrique Pereira Ponzilacqua, the Law and Religion Sociology course, part of the FDRP graduate program, welcomed Professor José Francisco Miguel Henriques Bairrão for a conference. Professor Bairrão is a social psychology researcher and teacher at the Psychology Department at FFCLRP-USP and also manages the Ethnopsychology Laboratory at this institution, where he counsels and develops research projects based on combining epistemological analysis (Epistemology of Psychology, Psychoanalysis Philosophy) and empirical research (Cultural Psychology, Religion Psychology). Religious discrimination and religious conflicts, tolerance and communication possibilities were some of the themes discussed, especially in relation to vulnerable religious groups.
