Theory of Law Conference Cycle – 2019

FDRP Professor Nuno Coelho presents the following themes in this year’s Conference Cycle:

 

March 9th (Saturday, from 8 to 12 am and 1 to 5pm) – Hebert Hart: The Concept of Law. MacCormick and Theory of Legal Argumentation

April 12th and 13th (Friday, from 6.30 to 10.30pm, and Saturday, from 8 to 12am and 1 to 5pm) – António Castanheira Neves’ Jurisprudentialism

May 17th and 18th (Friday, from 6.30 to 10.30pm, and Saturday, from 8 to 12am and 1 to 5pm) – Ronald Dowrkin

June 07th and 08th (Friday, from 6.30 to 10.30pm, and Saturday, from 8 to 12am and 1 to 5pm) – Miguel Reale and the methodical aspects of the Tridimensional Law Theory. Tercio Sampaio Ferraz Jr. and legal dogmas from a funcionalist perspective.

 

These conferences are open to the public and participants will receive certificates.
