On October 4th and 6th, FDRP was present at the I International Cosmoethics Symposium – Cosmoethics and Democracy, organized by the International Cosmoethics Association. The event took place in Foz do Iguaçu, aiming to debate the practice of democracy in a cosmoethical and egalitarian manner.

FDRP Dean, Prof. Monica Herman Salem Caggiano, coordinated the session Democracy in the 21st Century, along with FDRP professors Alessandro Hirata and Eliana Franco Neme. The Symposium also addressed reflections on cosmoethical democracy, democratic values and other matters regarding the link between the political regimen based on the people’s sovereignty and the principles of cosmoethology.
